Visited The Brooks Café in Lidcombe and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem nestled within an estate. The café offers a calm, cosy atmosphere with a lovely outdoor terrace complete with heaters — perfect for a relaxed brunch catch-up. I tried the pandan coconut waffle, which was light, fragrant, and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. I also had the creamy mushrooms on sourdough, which were rich, well-seasoned, and satisfying — a great savoury option. Both were complemented by a smooth cup of The Grounds coffee, which added to the overall experience. Dishes are fairly priced, devours and well presented.

1000000% would definitely come back! Food presentation and taste was *chefs kiss*. No word of a lie, food came out hot within 10 mins of ordering. Service was impeccable and there were even heaters in the outdoor seating area which made it so cosy. So clean, vibrant and welcoming. We ordered the Big Brekky, Creamy Mushroom, Brooksmash, Matcha Cloud and TiramisuLatte. Everything was top notch and you best bet we licked our plates clean. Can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu.

Teriyaki chicken bowl was mad! Loved the portion size, flavour and freshness! So crunchy with pops of sweetness and creaminess from the avo. I rate it! Wagyu burger was really nice as well. Will definitely be back!

Had breakfast here three days in a row, and every meal was absolutely delicious! The coffee was consistently perfect, never a miss. The place is super cozy and dog-friendly, which makes it even better. It’s such a convenience having this gem of a café nearby. Once you’ve been here, you won’t want to go anywhere else!
